Scholarship

The Scholarship Program was founded in 1986, the first program of AAUW St. George Branch.

The number of scholarships awarded has grown up to 44 scholarships in one granting cycle.

Total scholarship monies are in excess of $350,000.

Public Policy

Keeping our members informed about public policy is a priority for the St. George Branch of AAUW. Locally, we focus on voter registration, Work Smart, participating in Lobby Day at the Capitol to advocate for equal pay and the Equal Rights Amendment, and encouraging members to stay engaged through the AAUW Action Network and Two-Minute Activist tools

Lunch & Lecture Series

Join the AAUW St. George Branch for our monthly Lunch & Lecture, typically held on the first Monday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Enjoy lunch, connect with members and guests, and hear engaging speakers from philanthropic, educational, and community organizations. Guests are always welcome and encouraged to attend!.

E-Smart

E-Smart was created by the St. George Branch of the American Association of University Women to encourage interest in science, mathematics, technology, and related fields. In partnership with Utah Tech University, the program has inspired curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. We are exploring new ways to continue this legacy for future generations.

Dream Builders

Celebrate our Sapphire Edition Fundraiser, marking 45 years of AAUW St. George and 145 years of AAUW . Our giving campaign returns with a fun 1980s theme, featuring archival highlights.

At the “Sapphire Soirée,” we’ll celebrate our impact in our community.

Membership

Branch Membership:

Anyone holding an Associate (or equivalent, such as RN), Bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. A

Associate Membership:

Open to those who support the mission of AAUW, but do not hold an Associate degree or higher, therefore do not qualify for Full Membership
